Privacy policy
Meridian is a retirement planner for iPhone and Android, made by Wally Apps LLC, a California company. This policy explains what the app stores, where it is kept, and the few things that leave your phone.
No account, and nothing linked to a bank
What you enter
To build your plan, you type in details such as your age and your partner’s, your savings (including account balances and any names you give your accounts), what you spend, your income, Social Security, planned purchases, taxes, and updates to your savings over time. You decide what to enter; nothing is read from your bank or any other app.
Where it’s kept
- On your phone, in the app’s own storage.
- On iPhone, a copy is kept in your own iCloud (iCloud key-value storage, tied to your Apple ID), so your plan comes back on a new or replacement iPhone. It sits in your Apple account; Wally Apps can’t see or access it.
- On Android, your plan is included in your phone’s Google backup (Android Auto Backup) if backup is turned on, so it comes back when you restore a new phone. It sits in your Google account; Wally Apps can’t see or access it.
Sharing your plan as a PDF
Meridian Plus can make a PDF of your plan. It’s made on your phone and goes only where you send it from the share sheet — for example mail, messages, Files or a printer. Nothing is uploaded.
Purchases
Meridian Plus is paid for through Apple (the App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details.
We use RevenueCat to check purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID, the purchases you’ve made and their receipts, your device and operating system, and your country and IP address. It does not receive your name, your email or anything from your plan. The app contacts RevenueCat only when the Plus offer is shown (once after you finish setting up, or when you tap a Plus feature), when you buy or restore a purchase, and when the app opens if you have Plus. Analytics
Meridian does not use any analytics service. We don’t collect information about how you use the app.
Nothing else
Meridian shows no ads and uses no advertising identifiers — it doesn’t track you across other apps or websites. It has no crash-reporting service of its own. We don’t use data brokers, and we don’t sell any data.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Your details → Clear my details and start over. This deletes your plan, its history and your saved questions — on your phone and in the iCloud copy.
Deleting the app removes what’s stored on your phone. On iPhone, the iCloud copy stays in your Apple account until you reinstall Meridian and start over. On Android, what’s in your Google backup is managed in your Google account.
Purchases are kept by Apple or Google, not by us, and can be restored on a new phone.
Children
Meridian is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Meridian gives estimates based on the details you enter. It is not financial, tax or legal advice.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
